THE VENUE

A room designed for the evening meal

Fifty covers, a controlled light, acoustics that let the table speak — the setting serves the meal, not the other way around.

— THE SPACE

What the dining room demands of the meal

The dining room seats fifty. This figure is not a communication detail — it is a constraint the kitchen accepts. When the room is full, every table is served in order. Nothing is sent out before it is ready. The reservation exists for exactly this reason: to guarantee that the rhythm holds from the start of service to the finish.

In the evening, the light drops. The sound stays low. The space is not designed for quick turnovers or for tables turned twice in a night. You come here to sit down, order, and eat slowly. What the room imposes — the intimacy of the number, the unhurried length of the meal — also changes the way dishes arrive at the table.

— COMMITMENTS

Three rules that structure the service

01

Evening opening

The house opens for dinner only. This choice focuses all energy on a single service, carried out without haste.

02

Reservation required

No walk-ins. Reservations allow the dining room and kitchen to be prepared properly.

03

Capacity maintained

Fifty covers maximum. Beyond that, the quality of service cannot be guaranteed — we never exceed it.

— THE MENU

Chilean cuisine revisited, method upheld

Handed-down recipes, empanada dough folded by hand, a costillar cooked low and slow, a pisco sour measured to the centilitre — the menu says exactly what it does.

— Our story

Une histoire, des rencontres.

2012

Opening

2021

The meeting

Julien and Camille meet in the kitchens of a Parisian starred restaurant. They dream of a Mediterranean table, rooted in a port.

2022

The opening

Cap Ouest opens at Vallon des Auffes. A 24-cover dining room, a single terrace, a single promise: the sea as it just arrived.

2024

Recognition

Michelin Bib Gourmand. Feature in Le Fooding. The table becomes one of Marseille's must-visit destinations.

2026

Expansion

Opening of the second terrace on the rocks. New menu focused on ember-cooked preparations.

— THE TEAM

The people who keep the house running

Since 2012, hands that knead, marinate and serve. In 2018, a new chef joined the house and refined every recipe without betraying its origins. It is a small team, precise in its gestures, opening every evening without delegating what matters most.
